Main Fibers Geosynthetics

Product Name
Monofilament Polypropylene Fibers

General Description
Polypropylene fibers provide protection against nonstructural cracks. They enhance stability by reducing internal stresses or relieving them until the concrete has developed sufficient strength to sustain these stresses without cracking. The reduction of early age crack formation substantially reduces the number of weak planes and the potential for future crack formation.

These fibers are used in all types of concrete construction including, but not limited to:

Slab On Grade Stucco Architectural Precast
Driveways Shotcrete Fountains
Sidewalks Precast Waterfalls
Curbs Tilt-Up Panels Columns
Walls Whitetopping Cast Stone

Dosage Rates
Recommended application rate is 1 to 1.5 pounds per cubic yard of concrete to perform as plastic shrinkage reinforcement.
